Focusing Your Topic
This activity gets students brainstorming their topics before they decide what keywords to use for research. Students are asked to think about the who, what, where, when, and why of their topics. After students brainstorm, they will define three major concepts and synonyms for those major concepts to use as keywords in their database research.
